What a webinar we had this week! 🤩We wouldn't normally run one of our free webinars the week the schools break up and so many people go on holiday. But this one was clearly of phenomenal interest! It’s understandable when we all want to know what Labour's plans will look like when they announce them after 100 days of forming a Government. This will be the same week as World Menopause Day, so we're extra hopeful that it's good news for raising menopause in the workplace awareness, education and support. 🤞We might not know yet what The Labour Party's Menopause Action Plan is for employers with over 250 employees yet but we do know what The Menopause Friendly Accreditation standards and best practice are.Thank you so very much to the hundreds that joined our webinar, for sharing your ideas and the fabulous Menopause Friendly members who shared their thoughts and best practice:- Aster Group UK's Julie Cridland- Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust's Ben Towell- Specsavers’ Lou Furby- Henpicked's Sharon Vibert - Menopause In The Workplace and Jo Lee Morris All these organisations are FINALISTS in the Menopause Friendly Employers Awards and doing so many amazing things for their colleagues. 🤯FREE resources available to all webinar attendees - thank you again for coming!#menopause #menopauseintheworkplace #menopausefriendly #menopauseatwork

Let’s talk numbers…📈Around 70% of working women are aged between 50 and 61. The average age for menopause in the UK is 51 (although it can be earlier or later than this) and symptoms often start years earlier, in what’s known as the perimenopause. Which means that most women will be working through their menopause transition and beyond. 💼Big figures which speak volumes. But sadly, we know that one in four menopausal women consider leaving their jobs due to menopause. Organisations are losing talent unnecessarily. 😳Find out more and how you can prevent losing your talent here:https://lnkd.in/eX8ycwF7#talentattraction #talentretention #hr #womeninbusiness #menopauseatwork #menopausefriendly
